I've been
creative all my life. I have spent many years soaking up all kinds
of information and stimulations; I've been around the world to see
different sights, tasted different flavors, and smelled many scents
in which I incorporate into my jewelry. Over the past 15 years I've
been taking jewelry classes at local junior colleges and workshops
in Santa Cruz and Monterey California.
In 2000 I opened a Gallery in Davenport California where I fell in
love with glass. I learned how to make kiln fired glass dinnerware.
I started experimenting and was getting really creative there. I spent
a lot of time at the beach where I discovered an amazing treasure
of beach glass, and so began the beginning of my glass and jewelry
obsession. I soon joined the craze of making glass beads, persued
that for a couple of years, and then I discovered enameling. I took
a few classes with Carol Holiday at Monterey Peninsula College, bought
a kiln and have been teaching myself the Art of Cloisonné since
2005.
I make one of a kind jewelry so you can feel as unique as the piece
you'll be wearing. I put a lot of time and energy into each piece,
sometimes up to 10 hours.
Special orders are encouraged; I would love to make something unique
just for you!
